Format is a little funky but I thought these would be great. The fifth image looks like most of the plastic we've used and in general every scroll has undefined and faded print which will be perfect

DOOR TO DOOR VERSION 1

For a majority of the house that we went to no one was home but for the ones where people were there, they all said the same thing; that they didn't have any junk mail. They all had the same answers, like they didn't look at their junk mail they just threw it away. They did however agree to collect their junk mail (and tell their neighbors to do it too) and let us have it.

In addition, we managed to get the ARTS San Diego organization (A Reason To Survive) to donate the trash, junk mail, and any other item that pertains to our project to us.

Here is some rough pictures I took around liberty station specifically. I tried to take as many pictures that were signage, rad concepts for our project, and site locations (I did not read the email about locations ONLY until I took pictures)

PRIMER BLOG

1. "Palestine Wall Mural"

Materials:

Paint and the Palestine Wall bordering Israel.

What you Like (including use of materials):

Its a juxtaposition of sorts. I like the fact that he used exactly what was offered to him and did not tamper with anything to benefit his art. I like that he solemnly took what was offered and used it to his advantage.

About the Artist:
Banksy is wanted for "art crime" in Europe.

2. "Lost In Glimmering Shadows"

Materials: Wall Paint and Vintage Posters.

What you Like: I like the vivid imagery. It feels like viewing this you are watching a conversation between many people talking at once while the imagery of a strung out girl pops out.

About the Artist: Patrick Neil and Miller. Attained global status in 1999.

3. "Love and Loyalty"

Materials: Wall and Oil Paint, Spray paint.

What you Like: I like the artistic direction of this and how everything looks very soft and colorful, though there's not much detail I like the use of 3D art and the "wave" effect he has in his painting.

About the Artist: Carlos Rolon from Puerto Rico is a visual and musical artist. He is known for painting genre's and feel from his musical influences.

4. "Swoon Mural"

Materials: Wall paint, wheat paste.

What you like: I love the detail and extreme use of definition in this piece. The colors really give the vibe of how the artist felt when making this and the imagery "flashes" the main points the writer had.

About The Artist: From New York. Famous for wheatpaste art.

5. "Untitled"

Materials: Tattoo Art

What you like: I like the direction he has in these paintings. They have a very dramatic and defined look and I like the fact that he does tattoo art. He really expresses imagery in this piece and his work has a very worn and vintage look.

About the artist: Widely known for his concept of painting on used imagery. He was denied in a museum to exhibit his work because of a provocative art piece he did.
